I'm participating in Old School Speech's linky party to highlight some of my favorite February posts.
Sublime Speech was honest in her post "What I learned about that parent." It highlights the importance of putting aside self and opening up our minds to being good listeners and better clinicians.
Mia, from Putting Word in Your Mouth, linked up with my Creative Storage linky party to highlight some of her storage ideas. This is a fun post that shows a bit of my buddy's wild personality.
Nicole Allison, from Speech Peeps, expresses that it's time to be clear and honest about our employment with our high school students. I appreciate this perspective, especially in our world today as jobs become harder to find.
And for a great series on dyslexia, check out Tatiana's (Smart Speech Therapy LLC) posts. This three part series covers an array about the often confusing topic of reading disabilities.
You can't go wrong grabbing a cup of coffee and reading Old School Speech's blog for tips, app reviews, and fantastic products.
Be sure to head back to the linky party.
Those were all good posts this month!

Oh, I agree Nicole's post has come up in my conversations with colleagues several times and yes, I have thought about "that" parent and her impact. Great posts, all of them.
